Condition
Very Good
Almost brand new Atkin, the guitar was purchased a few months ago, but the first owner fell in love with another guitar. And decided to sell this amazing OOO. Atkins OOO-series (pronounced “triple-oh”) guitars are based very closely on the pre-war guitars which are revered by so many players. In the pre-war era there were a lot of spec changes with OOO-series guitars. Moving the 12 fret to the body has three important consequences: Firstly, the bridge moves closer to the centre of the lower bout where it can vibrate more freely, altering the tone and sustain of the instrument; secondly, the shorter neck is also stiffer, putting more of the strings’ energy into the soundboard. Finally, the nut moves closer to the player’s body, making for a comfortable playing position. This Atkin's previous owner has parted ways with his guitar, which has remained in very good condition with only some slight signs of wear. This guitar will attract both strummers and fingerpickers. It has plenty of headroom for fierce strummers and it has beautiful tone definition when finger picked. As mentioned the guitar is from this year and has a small spot on the back of the guitar(see pictures) hence, the very good condition label. The OOO has only been played a few times, fully checked and set up with fresh strings and comes with the original Atkin hard case and COA.
