The Alliance Series Mike Campbell is based on Duesenberg's versatile Starplayer TV design. The entire instrument is finished in metallic green with added white twinstripes on top. The pickguard shows Mike’s signature. The guitar is fitted with Duesenberg's acclaimed set of pickups that combines the sharp tone of a bridge humbucker with the warmth of a P90 in the neck position. In celebration of the 40th Anniversary of “Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers” they created a special metallic Racing Green edition of the Alliance Series Mike Campbell. It proudly wears an all-over finish and is fitted with a special nickel plated pickguard showing the 40th Anniversary logo of “The Heartbreakers”. Just like all Duesenberg's instruments, the Alliance Mike Campbell receives their elaborate Plek treatment. A pleked fretboard guarantees perfectly level frets. This is the basis for a fret polishing and setup work all done by hand that eventually makes their instruments play like nothing you have ever played before. This guitar is in excellent condition, fully checked and comes with the original hardcase en case candy.
