This Maton 808 electro acoustic guitar features a newly tuned, scalloped braced Bunya top and refined solid select grain Blackwood back and sides. The backs have been radiused to help create a greater tonal spectrum with focus on classic Maton earthy tones resulting in more bottom end response. The Necks have been upgraded to solid Blackwood timber and in keeping with the “Australian” theme, now have a Desert Acacia (Mulga) fingerboard and Bridge. Finally the Australian series now comes with the NEW Maton UV cured paint finish – a finer coat for a finer tone. A new MOP Australian decal adorns this exciting new guitar.The Australian Series is the culmination of over 50 years of building guitars from Australian timber.
